Katowice, capital of Silesia in Poland, has undergone a huge transformation in recent years: from place of heavy industry, coal and steel to a modern capital of a metropolitan area with 2 million inhabitants. It is in that stunning city that we invite you at the 54th Intersteno Congress 2024 from 13-18 July 2024!
Katowice dla odmiany, for a change, is one of the greenest cities in Poland. Over 40 % of its area is covered with forests, which along with parks and green squares are an excellent place for recreation and rest.
MCK/ICC, a modern and state-of-the-art international conference and exhibition complex, is our main congress venue where all congress activities will be centralized. The MCK/ICC is centrally located, next to the famous Spodek Arena, only 10 minutes walk to the market square and 15 minutes to the railway station.
